StorIT and Huawei’s joint inaugural channel event, ‘Data Management Opportunities’, saw a significant number of resellers participating along with senior executives from both the organising companies. Apart from demonstrations of Huawei’s storage products and solutions, the vendor’s channel policy and incentive programme were also introduced to the channel partners. The second event will be held on 17th June, 2014 at the Riyadh Marriott Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Our GCC inaugural event received tremendous response and we are confident our next event in Saudi Arabia will also be a success. These events are a platform where our partners from across the GCC get to know first-hand about Huawei’s latest innovations in enterprise-level storage technology, meet personally with senior executives of the company, understand their plans and channel programmes for this region and become a part of Huawei’s regional reseller network. Huawei also presented its latest technologies and solutions, including its latest Micro-DC solution and shared the benefits of its channel programs with the attendees,” said Manju Mathew, Marketing Manager, StorIT Distribution.

The inaugural Huawei channel event in Dubai was the first of many events that StorIT has planned for 2014. The distributor will hold regular seminars, road shows and training programmes to onboard new resellers and enable them to sell and deploy Huawei’s data management and storage products effectively.
